:-D This is funny but sad at the same time. When you communicate with a person online you tend to paint a picture in your mind of what they are like and often have preconceived notions about them before you meet. When you do meet them if they don't meet your expectations the tendency is to want to get out of there as fast as you can. You shouldn't do that. You might not get what you expected but it could be something better than you expected. So,for goodness sake, stick around at least until the coffee gets cold. You'll never give other things a chance to heat up. EAH :-)
I think that the comic format is a perfect way to express the funny, yes and sometimes cruel, flashes within a person's mind. Every human alive has moments of "not so civil" thoughts. I don't think the author's intent was that this would ever happen, but rather touching on that (hopefully) small portion of our psyche that wishes, "Wow, I sure wish the fire alarm would go off!"
